The Lynx Sedona L501 is the 30 inch built-in gas grill in the Sedona by Lynx series, the redesigned successor to the L500. Two 23,000 BTU burners give up to 46,000 BTU over 733 square inches of cooking surface, with ceramic radiant briquettes under stainless grilling grates, a halogen surface light, blue-lit knobs and the Lynx Hood Assist. Choose natural gas or propane, all stainless tube burners or one ProSear infrared burner, and the PSR version adds a rotisserie; each combination is its own Lynx model number.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: the L501 grill head in the selected configuration with grates, warming rack, briquettes, factory-tuned pressure regulator and 12VDC transformer; rotisserie motor and spit on L501PSR; LP models include an LP hose and regulator assembly for a 20 lb cylinder
- Required: an island cutout, an outdoor 120V 15A GFI outlet, a gas shut-off valve and a supply line sized for every appliance on it (Lynx recommends 3/4 in lines for natural gas grills); a 4/11 regulator for permanently plumbed LP
- Combustible enclosure: the Lynx Sedona insulated jacket for 30 inch grills is required
- Optional: Lynx Sedona VC501 built-in grill cover
Installation Notes
In a non-combustible island the grill drops into the cutout and hangs from its countertop trim with no deck needed; in a combustible enclosure the insulated jacket must sit on side ledges or a full deck. Give the enclosure vent openings so leaking gas cannot build up, never connect the gas line directly to the grill, and use the pressure regulator supplied with it. Lynx says never to use the grill in a garage, building or other enclosed area; under combustible overhead construction an outdoor-rated exhaust hood must overhang 3 to 6 in on exposed sides and move at least 1,200 CFM. In New York City, gas work must be done by a licensed master plumber under a DOB permit, and propane tank storage in the city carries FDNY rules, so confirm the fuel with us before you order. What is the difference between L501, L501PS and L501PSR?
L501 has two stainless tube burners. PS swaps one for a ProSear infrared burner, and PSR adds a 12,500 BTU rotisserie burner with motor and spit.
What cutout does it need?
29 in W x 10 in H x 21-1/4 in D in a non-combustible island. In a combustible enclosure, build for the LIJ500 insulated jacket instead.
Does it need electricity?
Yes. Lynx calls for an outdoor 120V 15A GFI outlet next to the grill, and ignition has a 9V battery backup.
Can I put it under a covered patio?
Only with an outdoor-rated exhaust hood of at least 1,200 CFM if the overhead construction is combustible, per the Lynx manual.

The Sedona by Lynx Warranty published by Lynx gives a one year full warranty on parts, shipping and authorized service labor, a 90 day cosmetic warranty, a five year limited warranty (parts only in years two through five) on the stainless firebox and drip tray, ProSear and rotisserie burners, warming racks, spit rods, manifolds and gas valves, and a limited fifteen year warranty on the stainless burner, control panel, bullnose and hood canopy against rust that affects structural integrity (part only, original purchaser). Residential use only; common areas get a 90 day Residential Plus warranty.
