The Majestic Ruby 30 Freestanding Gas Fireplace brings a split-log fire to a room without a chimney, hearth or mantel. It sits on the floor, vents through the roof with direct vent technology, and gives you a large glass view of the fire with remote control and a space below to style as you like. It suits small to medium rooms, bedrooms and sunrooms where a built-in is not practical.

Installation Notes
The Ruby must be vented vertically, so plan a roof or ceiling path for the vent before you choose a room. Gas and venting work must be done by a licensed installer, and clearances to the floor, walls and mantel are set in the installation manual. In New York City, direct vent gas fireplaces must meet the NYC Fuel Gas Code and need a permitted installation. Book a consultation and we will confirm venting and layout before you order.

Does the Ruby need a chimney?
No. It is a direct vent unit, but it needs a vertical vent run of at least 10 ft with a roof or ceiling termination, using two 3 in. flexible pipes.
Is a remote included?
Yes. The RC400 touchscreen remote is standard, and a wireless wall switch and the IntelliFire app are optional.
Can it run on propane?
Yes. Choose Propane in the Fuel Type option. The manual lists 32,000 BTU/h for propane and 32,700 BTU/h for natural gas.
