The Majestic GV60BK is the factory Grand Vista cabinet-style mesh door set made for the Biltmore 36 wood-burning fireplace (SB60). It frames the 36 x 28-1/2 in. opening in black and lets you close the firebox when the fire is out, while keeping the brick interior in view.

Doors are ordered separately from the fireplace so you can choose the look. Majestic's wood-burning brochure lists Grand Vista mesh doors in black for the Biltmore, and the Biltmore owner's manual adds DM6036 bi-fold glass doors. This listing is the door set only.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

Install the doors on the fireplace following the instructions packed with the doors and the fireplace installation manual. Use only Majestic-listed doors on a Majestic wood fireplace and follow the fireplace owner's manual for door position during a fire. New York City does not permit new wood-burning fireplaces under Local Law 38 of 2015, so we sell Majestic wood-burning fireplaces and their wood-burning accessories for installations outside the five boroughs where local code allows them. Frequently Asked Questions

Glass or mesh?

Grand Vista doors are mesh cabinet-style doors. For glass, the Biltmore owner's manual lists the DM6036 bi-fold glass doors for the Biltmore 36.

Will it fit the Biltmore 42 or 50?

No. GV60BK is for the Biltmore 36. The Biltmore 42 uses GV80BK and the Biltmore 50 uses GV100BK.

Are doors required?

No. Doors are optional; the Biltmore ships with a safety firescreen.

Warranty

Hearth & Home Technologies limited warranty, per warranty table 4021-645 printed in the Majestic owner's manuals: purchased replacement parts and optional accessories are covered for 1 year, parts only. Coverage begins at installation, requires purchase through an authorized HHT dealer and applies while the product remains at its original installation site.
