The Majestic SCN-ODCOUG42 is the framed mesh screen with canopy for the current Majestic Courtyard 42 outdoor vent-free gas fireplace (ODCOUG-42). The Courtyard 4608-901 installation manual lists it as the optional door screen; it adds a barrier that keeps leaves and debris out of the firebox while leaving the fire in view.

Installation Notes

Hang the screen per the instructions packed with it and the Courtyard manual. In New York City, outdoor gas fireplaces and their gas piping need NYC Fuel Gas Code and Department of Buildings approval, and propane at residences is restricted by the NYC Fire Code, so we review the space before quoting.

Outdoor Lifestyles (Hearth and Home Technologies) limited warranty, per the Majestic Courtyard owner's manual: optional accessories, logs, refractory and glass panels (thermal breakage) are covered for one year from installation; hairline cracks and slight color change are not defects. Coverage begins at installation and requires purchase from an authorized HHT dealer.
