Description
Description
Overall Dimensions: 15-1/2 in. W x 14 in. H x 14-3/8 in. D; rough framing 13 x 10 in. (per listing)
The Majestic PVLP-SLP is a low-profile power vent: a fan-assisted exterior termination for the SLP 4 x 6-5/8 in. direct vent pipe system. A power vent lets a direct vent gas fireplace vent through runs and locations that a natural-draft vent layout cannot reach.
Its shallow cabinet sits close to the exterior wall. Only Majestic fireplaces approved for power venting can use it, so the fireplace installation manual decides whether it is allowed and what vent run applies.
Features
- Fan-assisted termination for SLP direct vent pipe
- Low-profile cabinet for tight exterior walls
- Opens up fireplace locations beyond natural-draft vent limits
- Majestic factory venting component

Installation Notes
Confirm in the fireplace installation manual that the model is approved for PVLP-SLP and check the maximum vent run, termination clearances and wiring before ordering. Power vents are installed by a qualified installer, with the electrical work by a licensed electrician. In New York City, gas fireplaces and inserts are installed under the NYC Fuel Gas Code by a licensed master plumber, with DOB filing where required. The termination location on the exterior wall usually decides feasibility. Book a design consultation to plan the vent run and termination.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why use a power vent?
It moves exhaust with a fan, so a direct vent fireplace can be located where a natural-draft vent run would be too long or too complicated.
Does it work with any fireplace?
No. Only Majestic fireplaces approved for PVLP-SLP in their installation manual can use it.
Is the vent pipe included?
No. SLP pipe and fittings are separate.

Warranty
Covered under the Hearth & Home Technologies limited warranty table (4021-645M), which lists HHT venting products at 1 year for all parts. Coverage requires purchase through an authorized HHT dealer and installation at the original site.
