Description

The Majestic ODGSDPFLT-36 is the 36 in. outdoor gas drain pan for the Majestic Courtyard and Vesper 36 outdoor vent-free gas fireplaces. It is the flat version, used where the bottom of the appliance sits directly on the hearth.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

The manual recommends a slope of 1/4 in. per foot toward the drain ports if you build the base instead. In NYC, outdoor gas fireplaces and their gas piping need NYC Fuel Gas Code and DOB approval, and propane at residences is restricted by the NYC Fire Code.

Frequently Asked Questions

Flat or sloped pan?

Use the ODGSDPFLT-36 when the appliance bottom sits directly on a level hearth; use the ODGSDP-36 otherwise, per the Vesper manual.

Is a drain pan required?

Majestic requires proper drainage; a drain pan is one approved way to provide it.

Warranty

Outdoor Lifestyles (Hearth and Home Technologies) limited warranty, per the outdoor fireplace owner's manual: optional accessories are covered for one year from installation. Purchase from an authorized HHT dealer is required.
