The Majestic GLMQ36 reflective black glass walls line the back and sides of the Marquis II 36 direct vent gas fireplace. The dark glass reflects the flames across the firebox for a deeper, brighter fire picture than brick.
The Marquis II owner's manual lists GLMQ36 as the black glass refractory for the MARQ36IN-B. The glass walls require the 2614-053 black hearth brick and top to complete the firebox, so order the two together.

A qualified service technician should fit the glass walls and hearth brick following the Marquis II installation manual and the instructions packed with the kit. Never operate the fireplace with cracked glass panels. In New York City, gas fireplaces and inserts are installed under the NYC Fuel Gas Code by a licensed master plumber, with DOB filing where required. Book a design consultation to choose the interior and front together.

Is the hearth brick included?
No. The glass walls require the 2614-053 hearth brick and top, sold separately.
Will it fit the Marquis II 42?
No. Majestic makes GLMQ42 for that size.
Glass or brick?
Glass gives a reflective, contemporary interior; Majestic also offers Tavern Brown brick in traditional and herringbone patterns.

Warranty
Hearth & Home Technologies limited warranty, per warranty table 4021-645 printed in the Majestic owner's manuals: cement refractory panels and glass liner panels on HHT gas appliances carry 2 years, and purchased replacement parts and optional accessories carry 1 year, parts only. Small hairline cracks and normal heat discoloration are not defects. Coverage begins at installation, requires purchase through an authorized HHT dealer and applies while the product remains at its original installation site.
