The Majestic Royalton is a traditional zero clearance wood-burning fireplace with a detailed brick interior, available as the 36 in. BE36 or the 42 in. BE42. It is a dependable, classically styled choice for new construction and additions where a real wood fire is allowed.
Both sizes share a 39-1/2 in. height and 21-3/8 in. depth, use the SL300 series chimney, and are listed to UL 127. Add bi-fold glass doors in black or stainless trim when you order, using the options above.

Installation Notes
The Royalton uses the SL300 series chimney with a 2 in. clearance to combustibles and insulation, and needs a non-combustible hearth extension at least 20 in. in front and 12 in. to each side of the opening. Frame the BE36 at 42 in. wide, 39-3/4 in. high and 21-1/2 in. deep, and follow the manual for mantels, wall projections and chimney height. Use a certified installer. New York City does not permit new wood-burning fireplaces under Local Law 38 of 2015, so we sell Majestic wood-burning fireplaces for installations outside the five boroughs where local code allows them. Which size should I choose?
The BE36 has a 36 x 21 in. opening and is 41 in. wide overall; the BE42 has a 42 x 21 in. opening and is 47 in. wide. Both are 39-1/2 in. high and 21-3/8 in. deep.
Can I add gas logs?
The Royalton has dual gas knockouts for a vented gas log set or log lighter. The listing notes the knockouts are not approved for vent-free logs.
Are glass doors included?
No. Choose black (DM1036 or DM1042) or stainless (DM1036S or DM1042S) bi-fold doors from the options above.
Can it be installed in New York City?
No. NYC does not permit new wood-burning fireplaces under Local Law 38 of 2015. We supply the Royalton for projects outside the five boroughs.

Warranty
Hearth & Home Technologies limited warranty, per the warranty table (4021-645N) in the Royalton owner's manual: for wood appliances, the firebox and heat exchanger, castings and baffles, and HHT chimney and terminations are covered 10 years on parts with 3 years labor; all other parts 1 year; purchased replacement parts and optional accessories 1 year with no labor. Coverage begins at installation, transfers to later owners while the fireplace stays at its original site, and requires purchase through an authorized HHT dealer. Normal wear items such as paint, gaskets, firebricks and grates are excluded.
