The Mont Alpi MAi400-D Deluxe Island is a fully assembled 4-burner gas grill island with white granite waterfall counters, a ceramic infrared side burner and a ceramic infrared rear burner for rotisserie cooking. It is built for homeowners who want a ready-to-use outdoor cooking station on casters without building a masonry island. What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included: island with grill, side burner, rotisserie kit, warming rack and propane hose and regulator (propane model); a full-size weather cover and granite chopping board are listed with the island
  • Natural gas: choose the natural gas option, which adds the Mont Alpi natural gas conversion kit, and have a gas line run by a qualified installer
  • You will need: a 20 lb propane cylinder for the propane model (not included), and a GFI protected outlet
  • Optional: island cover for the 400 island

Installation Notes

Mont Alpi's island manual calls for 24 in. to combustible construction at the sides and 36 in. at the back, and says not to use the island under overhead combustible construction. The plug is a grounded three-prong plug that should go to a GFI protected circuit. Propane cylinders must have overfill protection and use the supplied regulator and hose. Natural gas conversion must be done by an authorized person. In New York City a natural gas connection needs a permitted installation under the NYC Fuel Gas Code; talk to us about fuel and tank use for your address. Mont Alpi limited lifetime warranty: 15 years on the stainless steel hood and cooking grids, 5 years on the burners, 2 years on the firebox and 1 year on electronics, per the current listing.
