The Mont Alpi 805 Deluxe Island (MAi805-BSS) is a complete 7 3/4 ft outdoor kitchen that arrives assembled on casters: a 6 burner gas grill with infrared rear rotisserie burner, a height-adjustable ceramic infrared side burner, storage cabinets and white composite granite counters, all in black 304 stainless steel. It is for the homeowner who wants a finished outdoor kitchen on a patio this season without building a masonry island.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

The island ships fully assembled in modules and only needs the connecting brackets fastened, then it rolls into place on casters. Keep 24" from the sides and 36" from the back to combustible construction, and do not place it under an overhead combustible structure. On propane, use only the regulator and hose supplied by Mont Alpi. For natural gas, Mont Alpi builds both orifices into each valve: an authorized technician removes the propane jets and connects the natural gas hose, and the gas line itself should be run by a licensed plumber. In New York City that means a licensed master plumber under the NYC Fuel Gas Code. The island has an external electrical source for its lights and must be grounded per local code, so plan an outdoor GFCI outlet nearby. Frequently Asked Questions

Does it run on natural gas?

Yes. It ships for propane, and the natural gas variant adds the Mont Alpi MANGK kit. Both orifice sizes are built into the valves, so conversion means removing the propane jets and connecting the natural gas hose.

How much assembly is required?

Very little. The modules arrive assembled; you fasten the brackets that join them and connect the gas.

Can I add a refrigerator later?

Yes. Mont Alpi islands are modular, and the MASFM-BSS fridge cabinet and MA90C corner modules are designed to extend the 805 island.

Does the black finish need special care?

It is still 304 stainless steel. Keep it covered when not in use, which Mont Alpi requires to keep the hood, burner and grid warranty valid.

Warranty

Mont Alpi limited lifetime warranty: 100% coverage for 15 years on the stainless steel roasting hood (rust through) and cooking grids (rust through, not rust marks), 5 years on the tubular burners, 2 years on the firebox and 1 year on electronics. After those periods the owner pays 45% of list price for the replacement part. Coverage requires a suitable all-weather cover and the care steps in the manual, and excludes commercial use, misuse, grease fires and modified products.
