The Mont Alpi MABi805-BSS is a 44 in. built-in gas grill with 6 stainless steel tubular burners and a ceramic infrared rear burner, 87,000 BTU in total, on a 38 x 18 in. cooking surface. It is built in 304 stainless steel with a black finish, and it comes with a heavy-duty rotisserie kit and electric motor, which makes it a strong pick for anyone who roasts as often as they sear.
Blue LED knobs turn red when a burner is on, two halogen lights cover the grates at night, and a full-width front grease tray slides out for cleaning. It ships propane-ready and converts to natural gas with the Mont Alpi conversion kit.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

- Optional natural gas conversion: Mont Alpi natural gas conversion kit (MANGK), with regulator, 10 ft hose and conversion tool
- Optional: Mont Alpi stainless steel griddle kit with scraper and two spatulas
- Required: a non-combustible island or enclosure built to the cutout drawing, a gas supply, and a 120V outlet for the rotisserie motor
- Optional: Mont Alpi charcoal tray, sold separately
Installation Notes
The grill ships propane-ready with a hose and regulator; for natural gas, install the MANGK kit and have a licensed gas fitter make the connection and leak test. Build the cutout to the Mont Alpi drawing from non-combustible materials, and allow access to the gas valve and the outlet for the rotisserie motor. In New York City, gas grills on terraces and rooftops are regulated by the FDNY and the Department of Buildings, gas piping must be run by a licensed master plumber, and propane cylinder use is heavily restricted, so we review the space before quoting. Book a design consultation and we will plan the island, cutout and gas run.

Mont Alpi's drawing shows 43.4 in. wide, 22.83 in. deep and 10.63 in. high. Confirm against the unit before the island is built.
Can I install this in New York City?
Often, yes, but terraces and rooftops are regulated by the FDNY and Department of Buildings and propane use is restricted. Talk to us before you order.

Warranty
Mont Alpi lifetime warranty, as published by Mont Alpi: 100% coverage for 15 years on the stainless steel roasting hood and the stainless steel cooking grids (rust-through, not rust marks), 5 years on the stainless steel tubular burners, 2 years on the stainless steel firebox and 1 year on electronics. After the 100% period the part can still be ordered under the lifetime warranty with the owner covering 45 percent of its list price. Coverage requires a suitable all-weather cover and the care steps in the guide, and excludes commercial use, misuse, grease fires and modification.
