The Mont Alpi MAi400-D 4-Burner Deluxe Island is a fully assembled gas grill island with white granite waterfall counters, ceramic infrared side and rear burners and an included rotisserie kit. It is propane ready and converts to natural gas with the Mont Alpi conversion kit. It is aimed at homeowners who want a complete cooking station that rolls into place without a masonry build.

Installation Notes

Mont Alpi's island manual calls for 24 in. to combustible construction at the sides and 36 in. at the back, and says not to use the island under overhead combustible construction. The plug is a grounded three-prong plug that should go to a GFI protected circuit. Natural gas conversion must be done by an authorized person. In New York City a natural gas connection needs a permitted installation under the NYC Fuel Gas Code; talk to us about fuel and tank use for your address. Warranty

Per the current listing: 15 years against rust-through on the stainless steel hood and cooking grids, 5 years on the stainless steel tubular burners, 2 years on the firebox and 1 year on electronics and ignition. Coverage requires routine maintenance and an all-weather grill cover. Mont Alpi's published terms add that after these periods the owner pays 45 percent of the part's list price and labor is not covered.
