Installation Notes
Mont Alpi's island manual (written for the Mai805 island) lists 24 inches of clearance to combustibles at the sides and 36 inches at the back, and says not to use under overhead combustible construction. Confirm clearances for this model before placing it. Gas connections must be made by a qualified installer. In New York City, outdoor gas appliances fall under the NYC Fuel Gas Code and building rules, so confirm what applies to your terrace or yard. It is sold as propane. Mont Alpi offers a natural gas conversion kit, and conversion must be done by an authorized person.
What is the difference between the D45 and D90?
The D45 uses 45-degree corners with an angled prep counter. The D90 uses a 90-degree corner module for right-angled and tighter spaces.
Does it have a side burner?
Yes. It includes a height-adjustable infrared side burner.
