Installation Notes

Fasten the wall bracket into studs using the template in the Napoleon manual, or frame a recess 36-3/4 x 14-1/2 in. and at least 3-1/2 in. deep for a partial recess. Leave 2 in. above the unit to a mantel so it can be lifted onto the bracket. Napoleon lists zero clearance to combustibles on all sides. Electric fireplaces need no gas line or venting, which makes them a practical choice for New York City apartments and co-ops, subject to building or board approval for any electrical work.
