Napoleon Oakville™ X3 Direct Vent Gas Fireplace Insert

The Oakville™ X3 drops into an existing masonry or factory-built wood fireplace and turns it into a sealed, thermostat-controlled gas heater. A high-performance burner throws up to 30,000 BTU behind heat-radiating ceramic glass, the blower kit and eFIRE Bluetooth controller come included, and the whole opening is finished with a faceplate and backerplate of your choosing. It is the standard fix for a cold, drafty brick fireplace in a New York City brownstone, a Long Island colonial or a New Jersey ranch.

Choosing Your Configuration

Decorative Panels are required — you must choose one. The firebox is finished with either MIRRO-FLAME™ reflective black porcelain, which brightens and deepens the fire, or one of the standard brick panel patterns. Log Set is optional: split oak logs ship with the insert, and birch or driftwood are available as upgrades. Faceplate & Backerplate is optional but is what visually closes the gap between the insert and your existing fireplace opening — each set here pairs a faceplate with the matching 4-sided backerplate so the trim is complete. Old Town Red™ brick panels, 3-sided faceplate and backerplate combinations, copper and gun metal faceplate finishes, the black cast iron surround, and a riser box are also available; ask us to quote any of those and we will add them to your order.

A direct vent kit is required to complete this installation and is sold separately. The Oakville™ X3 vents through 3-inch co-linear flexible liners run up your existing chimney, with kits available up to 45 feet. A stainless steel flex connector is included. Natural gas to propane conversion kits are available separately.

Warranty

The Oakville™ X3 is covered by Napoleon's President's Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in workmanship and materials on the combustion chamber. Installation by a licensed gas technician, with a chimney inspection and a correctly sized direct vent liner kit, is required to keep coverage in force.
