Napoleon Rosedale™ 3 Direct Vent Gas Fireplace Insert
The Rosedale™ 3 converts a tired wood-burning fireplace into a clean, controllable gas fire without touching the surrounding masonry. Heat-radiating ceramic glass, a standard safety screen and a full range of log kits, brick panels and trim let you match the insert to the room instead of the other way around. It is a straightforward retrofit for row houses and older homes across New York City, Long Island and New Jersey.

Choosing Your Configuration
All three selections above are required. Napoleon supplies the Rosedale™ 3 as a base unit and you must choose a Log Kit, a Faceplate and a Backerplate to complete it — the faceplate trims the insert itself and the backerplate covers the gap out to your existing fireplace opening. The trimmable backerplate is the safest choice if your opening is an unusual size or you are not sure of the dimensions.
Optional: decorative interior panels are available in MIRRO-FLAME™ reflective black porcelain (PRPRD3), Newport™ standard brick (DBPRD3NS), Westminster™ standard brick (DBPRD3WS) and Black Illusion glass (BIGRD3). An adjustable riser box (RD3RISE) and a co-axial vent plate (R35COAX) are also available. Tell us your fireplace opening dimensions and we will confirm the right trim before the order ships.
A direct vent kit is required to complete this installation and is sold separately. The Rosedale™ 3 vents through 3-inch co-linear flexible liners run up your existing chimney. Natural gas to propane conversion kits are available separately.

Warranty
The Rosedale™ Series is covered by Napoleon's President's Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. Installation by a licensed gas technician, with a chimney inspection and a correctly sized direct vent liner kit, is required to keep coverage in force.
