The Amantii Panorama Deep XT Lumina 50 (BI-50-DEEP-XT-LUMINA) pairs the deep firebox of the Panorama Deep series with an extra-tall 29-1/2 inch cabinet, so the fire bed and flame fill more of the wall at a 50 inch width. Amantii rates the BI-DEEP-XT series for outdoor areas protected from direct water as well as interior walls. It suits a living room feature wall, a primary suite or a covered patio where a vented gas fireplace is not allowed or not wanted.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included per current listing: firebox, real glass and glowing log media set, multi-function remote. Amantii's BI-DEEP-XT manual says the standard XT ships with no media, so we confirm the Lumina media contents on your order
  • Required: a framed 50 x 30 x 12-1/2 in opening and a grounded 15 A, 120V outlet, ideally on a dedicated circuit
  • Outdoor use: Amantii's warranty requires the stainless steel PAN-COV-50 cover on outdoor or high-moisture installs, with proof of purchase. It is available as the With Outdoor Cover option above
  • Bathroom use: a GFCI receptacle or circuit, with the unit kept away from showers and tubs

Installation Notes

This is an electric appliance with no gas line, vent or chimney, which makes it a practical choice for New York City apartments, condos and townhouses where gas or vented fireplaces are not an option. Do not use an extension cord, and avoid sharing the circuit with other appliances. Outdoors, Amantii requires a rain overhang of at least half the roofline height to the front and each side; an 8 ft roofline needs at least a 4 ft overhang. Frequently Asked Questions

How is the XT different from the standard Panorama Deep 50?

The XT cabinet is 29-1/2 in tall versus 23-5/8 in for the standard Deep, so the flame and media show a taller picture. It needs a 30 in high opening instead of 25 in.

Can it go outdoors?

Yes, in an area protected from direct water, with the overhang Amantii specifies and the stainless steel cover fitted.

What size opening do I frame?

50 in wide, 30 in high and 12-1/2 in deep per the Amantii manual.

Can I mount a TV above it?

The manual gives no numeric TV or mantel clearance, so confirm heights with your installer and your TV maker.

Warranty

Amantii warrants the fireplace against manufacturing and material defects for two years from the date of first purchase, for the original purchaser in the US and Canada. Light bulbs, labor and service charges are excluded. Panorama units installed outdoors or in moisture-intense conditions must use the stainless steel cover, and proof of purchase of the cover is required for warranty claims.
