The Amantii Panorama XtraSlim 40 (BI-40-XTRASLIM) is a built-in linear electric fireplace only 4 inches deep, shallow enough for a standard stud wall with a 4-1/2 inch rough opening. Amantii rates it for indoor rooms, bathrooms with GFCI protection and covered outdoor areas, and it adds WiFi control through the TuyaSmart app. It is a strong fit for apartment bedrooms, bathrooms and small living rooms where wall depth is the limit.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included per Amantii: firebox with clear glass media and remote control; other decorative media is optional
  • Required: a framed 39 x 20-3/8 x 4-1/2 in opening and a grounded 120V outlet, ideally on a dedicated circuit
  • Outdoor use: Amantii recommends the protective PAN-COVER on XtraSlim outdoor installs, and its warranty requires the stainless steel cover on Panorama units installed outdoors, with proof of purchase. The PAN-COV-40 is offered as the With Outdoor Cover option above
  • Optional: birch mantel surround (natural, white, gray bark or knotty black), selectable above

Installation Notes

This is an electric appliance with no gas line, vent or chimney, which makes it a practical choice for New York City apartments and condos where gas or vented fireplaces are not an option. Do not use an extension cord, and avoid sharing the circuit with other appliances. In a bathroom it must be on a GFCI receptacle or circuit and kept away from showers and tubs. Outdoors, Amantii requires a rain overhang of at least half the roofline height to the front and each side. Hardwiring or a new circuit should be done by a licensed electrician to local code. Will it fit in a standard 2x4 wall?

Yes. The unit is 4 in deep and the manual calls for a 4-1/2 in deep rough opening, 39 in wide and 20-3/8 in high.

Can I install it in a bathroom?

Yes, with a GFCI receptacle or circuit and with the unit kept away from showers, tubs and splash.

Does it work with an app?

Yes. It connects to the TuyaSmart Life app over WiFi, and the remote works without the app.

What media is included?

Clear glass media comes with this version; other Amantii decorative media is sold separately.

Warranty

Amantii warrants the fireplace against manufacturing and material defects for two years from the date of first purchase, for the original purchaser in the US and Canada, with proof of purchase required for service. Panorama units installed outdoors or in moisture-intense conditions must use the stainless steel cover, and proof of purchase of the cover is required for warranty claims.
