The Amantii Panorama XtraSlim 60 (BI-60-XTRASLIM) is a 60 inch built-in linear electric fireplace only 4 inches deep, shallow enough to recess into a standard 2x4 stud wall without building it out. Amantii's manual allows it in outdoor areas protected from direct water and in bathrooms on a GFCI circuit, so it works on a covered terrace, in a primary bath or on a living room media wall, with no gas line or venting.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Outdoors: the Amantii PAN-COV-60 stainless cover (selectable above); Amantii requires proof of purchase of the cover for warranty claims on outdoor or moisture-intense installs
  • Bathrooms: a GFCI receptacle or circuit, kept away from showers and tubs

Installation Notes

The XtraSlim is a built-in appliance with no gas line, vent or chimney, a practical choice for New York City apartments, condos and terraces where gas fireplaces are not an option. Outdoors it must be protected from direct water with a 1/2 overhang factor at the front and sides, and Amantii recommends the PAN-COVER. In a bathroom it needs GFCI protection and must be kept clear of showers and tubs. Hardwiring must be done by a qualified electrician to local code. Will it fit in a 2x4 wall?

Yes. The appliance is 4 in deep and Amantii calls for a 4-1/2 in deep opening, 59 in wide and 20-3/8 in high.

Can I use it outside?

Yes, in outdoor areas protected from direct water, with the 1/2 overhang factor Amantii specifies and the stainless PAN-COVER, which Amantii requires for outdoor warranty coverage.

Can it go in a bathroom?

Yes, on a GFCI receptacle or circuit and away from showers and tubs.

Can I put a mantel above it?

Yes, with at least 4 in from the trim to the mantel.

Warranty

Amantii warrants the fireplace against manufacturing and material defects for two (2) years from the date of first purchase, for the original purchaser in the US and Canada; light bulbs are excluded. All Panorama units installed outdoors or in moisture-intense conditions must use the stainless steel cover, and proof of purchase of the cover is required for warranty claims.
