The Amantii Symmetry Xtra Tall 60 (SYM-60-XT-LUMINA) is the tall-format Symmetry: the glass is 17-5/8 inches high, so the flame reads taller and fuller than a standard linear unit of the same width. It recesses flush or semi-flush with hidden front-flow venting, and it can be hardwired to 240V for roughly double the heat. At 60 inches it anchors a living room or primary suite wall, or a covered patio where a gas fireplace is not an option.

Installation Notes

Plug in at 120V with no extension cord, or have a qualified electrician hardwire it at 120V or 240V through the junction block described in the manual. Outdoors, Amantii allows areas protected from direct water impingement with a rain overhang of at least half the roofline height to the front and each side. This is an electric unit with no gas line, vent or chimney, which makes it a practical choice for New York City apartments, condos and townhouses where gas or vented fireplaces are not an option. Frequently Asked Questions

Does it need 240V?

No. It runs on a standard 120V outlet at 1,500 W. Hardwiring to 240V is optional and raises output to 3,000 W, about 10,230 BTU.

How deep a wall does it need?

Amantii specifies a 12-1/2 in deep opening, 61-1/4 in wide and 20-1/4 in high.

Can it be installed outdoors?

Yes, in a covered area protected from direct water with the overhang Amantii specifies.

Can I mount a TV above it?

Amantii does not publish a numeric TV clearance in the documents we reviewed. Check the TV maker's heat guidance and confirm with your installer before framing.
