The Amantii Tru-View XT XL 50 (50-TRV-XL-XT) is the extra-tall version of Amantii's three-sided XL built-in, with a 33 inch high cabinet that gives the flame a taller picture than the standard Tru-View XL. Side panels come off for a front-only, corner or three-sided view. It suits a feature wall, peninsula or covered patio wall where a 50 inch width fits but you still want a fireplace with real presence.

Installation Notes

This is an electric appliance with no gas line, vent or chimney, which makes it a practical choice for New York City apartments and condos where a gas or wood fireplace is not allowed. Plan the viewing sides before framing. In a bathroom the unit needs GFCI protection and must stay away from showers and tubs. Outdoors, Amantii requires a rain overhang of at least half the roofline height in front and on each side. Any new circuit or hardwire connection should be made by a licensed electrician. Can it be wired for 240V?

The TRV-XL-XT manual lists 120V AC at 1,465 W only and does not describe a 240V connection, so plan on a 120V circuit.

What opening do I frame?

53-3/4 in wide, 14-1/4 in deep and 34 in high per the Amantii manual.

Can it be a corner fireplace?

Yes. Remove the fending panel on one end for a front-and-side view.

Does it include media?

Amantii ships the XT XL without media; add an Amantii glass or log kit for the look you want.

Amantii's electric fireplace warranty covers manufacturing and material defects for two years from the date of first purchase, for the original purchaser in the US and Canada. Light bulbs and labor are excluded.
