The Twin Eagles TEGH48 is a 48 in. gas infrared patio heater in welded stainless steel, made to mount on a wall or ceiling over a covered patio or outdoor kitchen. It runs at 25,000 BTU on low or 37,000 BTU on high, controlled from a wall-mounted wireless remote.
No electrical wiring is needed: the gas valve runs on AA batteries, with spark ignition and a 100% safety pilot, and an optional 120V AC adapter is offered above. The decorative safety grille shields the burner from wind up to 15 mph.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: TEGH48 heater, 16 gauge stainless mounting brackets, flexible gas hose approved for NG or LP, and wall-mounted wireless remote with batteries

- Required: a gas supply with an accessible shutoff within 6 ft, installed by a licensed gas fitter, and a protected location
Installation Notes
Twin Eagles requires a covered location protected from rain, ocean spray, moisture and high wind; heaters exposed to the elements are not covered by the warranty. Mount it with the supplied brackets on a horizontal axis, level or angled up to 30 degrees and never vertically, to a structure that supports at least 100 lb, 8 to 9 ft up, with the clearances above and ventilation of at least 4 CFM per 1,000 BTU (about 150 CFM). Keep the gas inlet off the right side and the shutoff accessible. In New York City, gas heaters on terraces and rooftops fall under the NYC Fuel Gas Code and FDNY rules, gas piping must be run by a licensed master plumber, and propane cylinder use is heavily restricted, so we review the space before quoting. Book a design consultation and we will plan heater placement and the gas run.

Does it need electricity?
No. The gas valve runs on AA batteries and the remote on lithium batteries; a 120V AC adapter is optional.
How high should it be mounted?
8 to 9 ft, with 48 in. clear below and 18 in. above, per Twin Eagles.
Can it go on an open patio?
It must be protected from rain, spray, moisture and high wind, so it belongs under a covered patio or pergola roof.
Natural gas or propane?
Both are offered; choose the fuel above. Conversion kits are available from Twin Eagles.

Warranty
Twin Eagles outdoor gas heater warranty, per the TEGH48 manual: 1 year residential warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, with the part repaired or replaced free and the owner paying labor and freight, and 90 days for commercial applications. Coverage is for the original owner in the continental United States and Canada, requires warranty registration, and does not apply to heaters that are not protected from rain, ocean spray, moisture and strong wind, or that are mounted improperly.
