The Summerset RFR-TAP-2 is the double tap kit for the Summerset RFR-24DK outdoor rated kegerator, which ships without a tap. The kit includes the stainless steel tap tower with two handles, a CO2 tank, CO2 regulator, keg coupler, beer line hose, tower gasket and screws, a faucet wrench and a drip tray, per the AMD Direct kegerator manual.
The tower can mount on the kegerator top or on the island countertop above it. AMD Direct recommends keeping the tower as close to the kegerator top as possible and insulating the beer line where it passes through the island, so the beer stays cold and pours without foam.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: tap tower, CO2 tank and regulator, keg coupler, hose, tray and mounting hardware, per the AMD Direct manual
- Required, sold separately: the Summerset RFR-24DK outdoor rated kegerator
- Recommended: a PVC sleeve or insulated pipe around the beer line if the tower mounts on the countertop
- Required: CO2 fill and a keg
Installation Notes
Mount the tower as close to the kegerator top as possible; for a countertop tower, run the beer line through an insulated sleeve and seal the gap, because an exposed line warms up and pours foamy beer. The manual sets the kegerator at 36 F from the factory and calls for surrounding air between 50 and 109.4 F. For New York area patios and rooftops, plan to shut the unit down and winterize it for the cold months. Book a design consultation to plan the bar and island layout.

Warranty
AMD Direct (Summerset) warranty, per the Summerset warranty schedule: Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty on keg taps (per listing), ice chests and on drains and faucets under the cold storage and sinks schedule. The warranty covers replacement parts only, not labor, applies to the original purchaser at the original site of delivery, and requires online registration within 30 days of purchase; surface rust and discoloration from harsh environments are not covered.
