The Pilgrim SGI Series spark guards are flat single-panel screens built from solid large-diameter steel rods, expertly welded, with specially woven mesh that leaves no jagged edges exposed. Handles are bolted securely to the frame for moving the guard and tending the fire. This listing offers 8 sizes in a vintage iron finish.

New York City does not permit new wood-burning fireplaces under Local Law 38 of 2015, but existing fireplaces can still use accessories like this one.

Pilgrim limited lifetime warranty (Pilgrim warranty document): every Pilgrim brand product is warranted to the original consumer purchaser against defective materials or workmanship for the life of the product. A copy of the original sales receipt is required, and damage from accident, unreasonable use or neglect is not covered. Pilgrim repairs or replaces a defective item at its discretion.
