Description

The Napoleon F60-6 is a six-pack of the F60 universal thermostatic remote, the kit installers keep on the truck for gas fireplaces, stoves and inserts with a millivolt or electronic ignition valve. Each kit has a transmitter with an LCD screen, a receiver and the wall and fireplace mounting plates.

In thermostat mode the F60 cycles the burner on and off to hold the room temperature you set, and the receiver keeps a manual ON, REMOTE and OFF slide switch for use without the handset.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

Turn off gas and power, then wire the receiver to the valve's TH and TPTH terminals, or to the switch leads of an electronic ignition module, in parallel with any existing wall switch. Sync the transmitter within 30 seconds of setting the receiver to REMOTE. Keep the transmitter in the room, not too close to the fireplace, for accurate thermostat cycling. What is in the F60-6?

Six complete F60 thermostatic remote kits, each with its own transmitter, receiver and batteries.

Will it work with my fireplace?

It is approved for most gas fireplaces, stoves and inserts with a millivolt valve or electronic ignition. Electric fireplaces are not compatible.

Does it have a timer?

The F60 instructions describe on/off and thermostat functions; a timer is not listed for the F60 transmitter.

Warranty

The F45, F60 and F60D instructions do not print a separate warranty term, and state that modifying any part of the kit voids warranty claims. Coverage follows Napoleon's warranty policy for accessories at the time of sale; we confirm the terms on the order.
