What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included: one 2BA-22-012 remote, per current listing
  • Required: a Trade-Wind RC model hood or liner
  • Replacement part: RC hoods ship with a remote

Installation Notes

Fit a CR2025 battery in the tray at the bottom of the remote, point the top at the control on the right front of the hood, and stick the Velcro pad near the range if you want it mounted, per the VSL400 instructions. In New York City, a hood or in-line blower on a terrace, rooftop or in an apartment usually means new duct penetrations and electrical work, so building approval and a licensed electrician are part of the plan.
