The Outdoor GreatRoom Do-It-Yourself Round Burner Kit packages a Crystal Fire Plus stainless steel burner insert and burner plate with the control panel, two vent blocks and clear tempered glass gems, so you only add the pavers or block to build your own round gas fire pit. Choose the kit size above to match the opening you plan to build.
The 24 in. kit is rated 55,000 BTU and the larger kits 105,000 BTU on propane or 106,000 BTU on natural gas. Every kit ships set up for propane with a natural gas conversion kit, and uses a manual control panel with a thermocouple safety valve.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: Crystal Fire Plus burner insert and plate, DIY control panel, 2 vent blocks and clear tempered glass gems, per the OGR info sheet
- Required: pavers, block or other non-combustible construction materials for the fire pit body
- Required: a natural gas or propane supply connected by a licensed gas fitter; the 36 in. and larger burners need a hard-piped supply rather than a 20 lb. cylinder
- Optional: glass wind guards, glass burner covers, other fire media and log sets
Installation Notes
Build the fire pit body from non-combustible materials sized to the burner plate, set the two vent blocks low in the walls for ventilation and mount the control panel where the manual shows. Keep at least 72 in. above the burner and 24 in. to combustible side walls, per Crystal Fire Plus guidance. The kits ship for propane; convert to natural gas with the included kit and have a licensed gas fitter connect the supply. For New York City addresses, outdoor gas fire features and their gas piping fall under the NYC Fuel Gas Code and Department of Buildings permitting, and propane at residences is restricted by the NYC Fire Code, so the approval path must be confirmed before you buy. Book a design consultation to plan the fire pit, layout and gas line.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I still need to buy?
The pavers, block or other non-combustible materials for the fire pit body, plus the gas line connection. Wind guards, burner covers and other media are optional.
Can I use a propane tank?
The 36 in. and larger kits draw more gas than a standard 20 lb. cylinder can supply and need a hard-piped supply. Ask us about tank use with the 24 in. kit.
Can it run on natural gas?
Yes. Every kit ships for propane and includes a natural gas conversion kit.
Is electronic ignition available?
Yes. OGR offers direct spark ignition burners and control panels separately; ask us before you order.

Warranty
The Outdoor GreatRoom Company warranty, per the Crystal Fire Plus burner manual: 1 year against defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase, and a limited lifetime warranty, defined as 10 years, on stainless steel parts and assemblies in residential use (5 years in commercial applications). OGR supplies replacement parts at no charge and pays reasonable labor to repair or replace defective components. Coverage is for the original owner and original installation in the US or Canada.
