The SimpliFire Allusion Edge 50 is a slide-in linear electric fireplace that sits in a framed and finished wall with only about 5-5/8 inches of depth. It has a 48 inch by 15 inch viewing area, four flame effects, adjustable heat and Wi-Fi control, so it suits a new feature wall or a TV wall where a 2x6 framed recess is practical and no gas or venting is wanted.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included per the owner's manual: the fireplace, remote with 2 AAA batteries, black glass embers, black and clear crystals, a 9-piece timber log set, mounting screws, a power cord and a suction cup.
- Needed: a framed and finished wall with a 2x6 recess, and a minimum 15 A, 120 V circuit (a dedicated circuit is recommended). Hardwiring must be done by a qualified electrician.
- Optional: lighted birch log set (SF-ALLE-BIRCH), decorative spheres (SF-SPHERES), and Boyd build-out kits BOK-RTF-ALLP50 and BOK-MF-ALLP50. The media and kits are selectable on this listing.
Installation Notes
This is a recessed, slide-in unit with no venting or gas line. Plug it into a grounded outlet with the included cord, or have an electrician hardwire it through the terminal block; never use an extension cord or power strip. Plan the wall framing and finish thickness before you order, because the unit needs at least 5-3/4 inches combined framing and finish depth. The framing opening is 51 inches wide, 19-5/8 inches high and 5-1/2 inches deep, which is a 2x6 wall. Framing plus finish material must total at least 5-3/4 inches.
