The SimpliFire Allusion Platinum 72 (SF-ALLP72-BK) is a slim linear electric fireplace with a 70 in. by 15 in. viewing area inside a minimal black frame. At 5-5/8 in. deep it recesses into a standard 2 x 6 wall, which makes it a clean choice for living rooms, bedrooms and TV walls.
It runs on a 120V, 15 A circuit with a 1,500 W heater, can be used with or without heat, and ships with clear crystal media and white ceramic stones. Control it from the buttons on the face or the included multi-function remote.

Installation Notes
For a flush look, recess it into 2 x 6 framing 73 in. wide; the manual also shows framing for a discrete outlet. It is designed to be hard-wired to 120V AC on a 15 A circuit, and SimpliFire strongly recommends a dedicated circuit. In a bathroom it must be on a GFCI receptacle or circuit and kept away from showers and tubs. Electric fireplaces need no gas line or venting, which makes them one of the simplest fireplace options for New York City apartments and co-ops, subject to building and board approval for the electrical work.
