The SimpliFire Forum 43 (SF-OD43) is an outdoor linear electric fireplace for patios, decks, porches and outdoor kitchens. It gives you a 43-1/2 in. wide flame with no gas line, propane tank or wood, and it can be finished frameless or with its self-trimming front.
The Forum has no heater, so it draws only 36 W and you can put a TV or artwork directly above it. Choose from four flame and 13 ember bed colors with the remote, and use clear crystals or the log set with glowing embers.

Installation Notes
Frame an opening 46-1/4 in. W x 18-1/2 in. H x 9 in. D. SimpliFire's outdoor instructions call for exterior silicone sealant, flashing and a chase that sheds water toward drain ports, and the SF-OD43-DP drain pan is offered for that purpose. All electrical connections must be made by a qualified electrician; the unit ships with a GFCI protected cord that can be removed for a hard-wired installation. Do not use it if any part has been under water. In New York City, a terrace or rooftop installation needs building approval for the outdoor wiring, but there is no gas or venting to permit. Does the Forum heat?
No. It is a flame effect fireplace with no heater, which is why it uses only 36 W and allows a TV directly above.
Can it be installed outdoors?
Yes. It is built for outdoor use; follow the manual's sealing, flashing and drainage steps for the chase.
Do I need a drain pan?
It is optional. The manual calls for a chase that drains water away, and the SF-OD43-DP drain pan is offered for that; add it with the options above.
Does it plug in?
It ships with a GFCI protected power cord. The cord can be removed if you prefer to hard-wire it.

Coverage requires purchase through an authorized HHT dealer or distributor.
