Available Sizes: Superior See-Thru Conversion Kits

36 in. (Current Size) | 60 in. | 72 in.

Each part fits only the Superior fireplace size named on its page; match it to your unit.

The Superior LVOST36 is the kit Superior lists to convert the single-sided VRE4636 (Barcelona Lights 36) outdoor fireplace into a see-through model, so one fire can face two outdoor spaces. The VRE4600 manual has separate see-through framing dimensions and clearances, and a see-through fireplace uses glass windshields on both sides.

Features

  • Converts the 36 in. VRE4600 outdoor fireplace to see-through (catalog F4829)
  • Fire visible from both sides of an outdoor wall
  • Uses the see-through framing and clearance tables in the manual
  • Windshields on both sides in see-through use (manual)
  • Plan before the enclosure is framed

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

Decide on see-through before framing and follow the see-through dimensions and clearances in the VRE4600 manual. In New York City, outdoor gas fireplaces and their gas piping need NYC Fuel Gas Code and Department of Buildings approval, and propane at residences is restricted by the NYC Fire Code, so we review the space before quoting.

Plan it at framing; the see-through version has its own framing dimensions and clearances.
