The Superior HS36 is the 36 in. stainless steel hood with a 4 in. brow (catalog F1052) for the WRE3036 outdoor wood-burning fireplace. The WRE3036 manual says the hood is required when a vent-free gas log is installed in the fireplace.

Installation Notes

Mount the hood above the opening as the accessory section of the WRE3036 manual shows. New York City does not permit new wood-burning fireplaces under Local Law 38 of 2015, so we sell Superior wood-burning fireplaces and their parts for installations outside the five boroughs where local code allows them.

Innovative Hearth Products (IHP) limited warranty, as printed in Superior fireplace manuals: parts not otherwise listed in the warranty schedule carry a 90 day warranty from the date of installation. Coverage requires purchase from a listed IHP supplier, and the product must be installed in the United States or Canada.
