The Superior BDG42 is the 42 in. bi-fold glass door in black for Superior's WRT6000 indoor and WRE6000 outdoor wood-burning masonry fireplaces. The Superior manuals list the BDG/BD doors for use with Estate refractory panels only; fireplaces lined with Mosaic brick use the BDMO doors instead.

Installation Notes

Confirm the liner type first: the BDG/BD doors are listed for Estate refractory panels only. Install per the instructions packed with the kit and the fireplace installation manual. New York City does not permit new wood-burning fireplaces under Local Law 38 of 2015, so we sell Superior wood-burning fireplaces and their parts for installations outside the five boroughs where local code allows them.

Innovative Hearth Products limited warranty for optional glass doors, per the IHP fireplace warranty: repair or replacement for 90 days from the date of installation. Coverage requires purchase from a listed IHP supplier and installation by an IHP-approved contractor in the United States or Canada.
