It replaces the plain firebox interior with a finished buff brick surface behind the flame. Superior liner kits are sized to one firebox, so confirm your fireplace model before you order.

Installation Notes

Install the liner per the instructions supplied with the kit and your fireplace manual, with the fireplace off and cool and the glass removed, then set the logs back exactly as the manual shows.

In New York City, a direct-vent gas fireplace needs a licensed master plumber and a permit.
