Description

An outside air kit draws combustion and make-up air from outdoors instead of from the room, which keeps a fireplace burning properly in a tight, well-sealed house and stops it competing with range hoods and dryers for air. This is the 4-inch outside air kit. It is often required by code on new construction.

  • Supplies combustion air from outdoors rather than from the room
  • Prevents draft and spillage problems in tightly sealed houses
  • 4-inch outside air kit
  • Frequently required by local code on new construction
