Mountain Timber logs with Ember Supreme burner, natural gas only, high-capacity millivolt pilot and wall switch. The 42″/48″ listing uses a working log-size selector on the 42″ burner. Log counts, burner size/input and fireplace fit differ; verify each model’s installation requirements. Burner certification is identified in the existing specifications.

Overall Dimensions: 36 in log set (Mountain Timber MTS3608AA on the 36SNES2B3 Ember Supreme burner)

The Hargrove 36 in Mountain Timber Large Vented Log Set pairs hand-painted, gnarled Mountain Timber logs with Hargrove's Ember Supreme burner, an oversized single burner that produces a taller, fuller body of flame. This version has a factory installed high capacity millivolt safety pilot with a wall switch to turn the main burner on and off. It is a natural gas set for a masonry or wood-burning fireplace with a fully open flue.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included: 36SNES2B3 burner kit with valve and wall switch, and the MTS3608AA Mountain Timber log set
  • Required: a vented, wood-burning fireplace with a working chimney and the damper open, a natural gas supply, and installation by a qualified gas installer

Installation Notes

Vented gas logs must be used in a working, wood-burning fireplace with the damper open so that combustion products leave through the chimney. Install to local codes and Hargrove's instructions. In New York City, gas work must be done by a licensed master plumber under a DOB permit, so confirm the fuel with us before you order, and because Hargrove lists this burner as NON CERTIFIED, check approval with your building and inspector. Book a free design consultation and we will measure the opening and check the flue with you.
