What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included: 2 hour dial timer with knob, dial and wall plate in a NEMA enclosure, per the spec sheet
  • Required: a licensed electrician and a Warming Trends electronic ignition system

Installation Notes

The timer instructions recommend a licensed electrician: power off at the breaker, wire per the diagram, and mount in a double-gang box. Dial timers are optional add-ons for electronic ignition systems (June 2026 manual). In New York City, outdoor gas fire features and their gas piping fall under the NYC Fuel Gas Code and Department of Buildings permitting, and propane at residences is restricted by the NYC Fire Code, so confirm the approval path before you build.
