What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included: one CRR2917 cover cut to your size, per current listing
  • You will need: the exact length and width; measure the inside of the opening first
  • Not included: burner, pan or plate, media and ignition

Installation Notes

Place the cover only when the burner is off and fully cool, and never light the burner with it on. It rests on the opening and is not a structural surface, so do not stand on it. In New York City, outdoor gas fire features and their gas piping fall under the NYC Fuel Gas Code and Department of Buildings permitting, and propane at residences is restricted by the NYC Fire Code, so confirm the approval path before you build.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the size set?

Give us the final cover length and width within this range when you order; it is cut to size.

Can it stay on while the burner runs?

No. Remove it completely before lighting and use it only when the burner is off and cool.

Will it rust?

No. Aluminum does not rust, though any outdoor metal can weather over time.
