What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included: one ALPL24S burner plate, per current listing
  • Required, sold separately: a CROSSFIRE burner, gas connection and fire-rated media
  • Required: supports such as blocks, bricks or metal L-brackets (manual)

Installation Notes

Support the plate on blocks, bricks or L-brackets, never on the control box, and keep the capstone ledge off the outer lip so the system stays serviceable. Vent the enclosure on two opposing sides at 18 sq. in. each (June 2026 manual). In New York City, outdoor gas fire features need NYC Fuel Gas Code and DOB approval, and residential propane is restricted by the NYC Fire Code.

Frequently Asked Questions

Plate or pan?

A flat plate suits an opening that contains the media itself; the ALPAN pan adds 2 in. sidewalls that hold media.

Which burner fits?
