The Majestic DM8042 is the bi-fold glass door set with black trim for the Biltmore 42 (SB80) wood-burning fireplace. The Biltmore SB60/SB80 owner's manual lists DM6036 and DM8042 as the clear-view bi-fold glass doors in black, with DM6036S and DM8042S in stainless steel. Doors are optional and let you close the opening when the fire is out while keeping the firebox in view.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

Install the doors per the instructions packed with them and the fireplace installation manual. Majestic wood-burning manuals say glass doors are optional, only Hearth and Home Technologies approved doors may be installed, and a fireplace with doors must be operated with the doors fully open or fully closed, never partly open. New York City does not permit new wood-burning fireplaces under Local Law 38 of 2015, so we sell Majestic wood-burning fireplaces and their accessories for installations outside the five boroughs where local code allows them.
