Description

The American Made Grills IRB-EST is the drop-in infrared sear burner for Estate and Estate Freedom grills. It replaces one standard tube burner to create a high-heat sear zone for steaks and chops, and it can be moved back out when you want the full main-burner grilling area.

Installation Notes

Per the Estate manual: install it at the far left for a sear zone, remove the grate, burner covers and main burner, remove the cross tube if needed, then seat the sear burner with the orifice centered and the rear locating pin engaged. Is it required?

No. It is an optional upgrade; the grill cooks on its standard burners without it.

Where should it go?

AMG recommends the far left position so the sear zone does not split the main grilling area.

Warranty

The AMD Direct warranty sheet does not list this accessory separately. For gas grills it gives lifetime coverage on construction and stainless steel and 3 years on other parts and electrical. Original purchaser and delivery site only; register online within 30 days. Replacement parts only, no labor; commercial use, discoloration, surface rust, corrosion and damage from improper installation or misuse are excluded (AMD Direct warranty sheet).
