See-through twin-ember-burner packages with standing pilot and variable flame remote. What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included per Hargrove for 28 to 30 in sets: STG-25 see-thru grate, two EB-22 ember burners, sand, fire embers, volcanic cinders, aluminum connectors, damper stop and fittings, plus the selected log set and the remote valve system
  • Required: a fully vented, non-combustible see-through fireplace approved for wood, a gas supply and a licensed installer
  • Propane: an automatic pilot system must be used

Installation Notes

Center the ember burners on the fireplace floor under the flue, then set the grate over them. Use a 1/2 in gas line for runs up to 30 ft, connect with the aluminum connectors and leak test every joint with soapy water. Keep the damper and any glass doors fully open during burning, and use a fire screen. In New York City, gas work must be done by a licensed master plumber under permit, and FDNY restricts propane storage, so most city installs use natural gas.
