What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included per the manual: vent kit (flexible pipes and termination cap), power cord assembly, reset switch, battery plug, refractory kit, log set (Excursion III), embers and glass seal plate
- Per the current listing, an LP conversion kit is included with the natural gas unit. Confirm the fuel before ordering.
- Required: a decorative barrier front and a surround, selected in the options above, because neither ships with the insert
- Required: gas line, a 110 to 120 VAC outlet and a chimney that can accept the flexible liner
Installation Notes
This insert vents through an existing chimney with the supplied 3 inch flexible pipes and needs a vertical termination. Mantel and wall projection limits depend on the surround you choose, so confirm them in the installation manual before you order. A licensed gas installer must set the unit and connect the gas. In New York City, gas inserts require permits and must meet the NYC Fuel Gas Code. Book a consultation and we will confirm your chimney and opening first.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit my existing fireplace?
The firebox must meet the minimum opening of 36-5/8 inches wide at the front, 24-1/4 inches high at the front and 15 inches deep. Measure before you choose a surround size.
Is a front included?
No. The decorative barrier front and the surround are not included and must be ordered with the insert.

No. The manual does not permit horizontal termination. The flexible liner runs vertically through the chimney, 10 to 50 ft.
