Installation Notes
The manual requires 36 inches of ceiling clearance above the insert, 8 inches to a perpendicular combustible side wall and a vertical-only vent through the existing chimney. Combustible trim and mantels are limited to a zone above the opening, so check the manual before choosing a mantel. A licensed installer must handle gas and venting. In New York City, gas inserts require permits and must meet the NYC Fuel Gas Code. Book a consultation and we will check your chimney and opening first.
