The SimpliFire Scion 55 (SF-SCN55) is a flush-mount linear electric fireplace designed so tile, stone or drywall can run right to the edge of the glass. Concealed vents keep the face clean, which suits modern living rooms, bedrooms and media walls.
It heats at 1,400 W on 120V or 2,800 W wired for 240V, with nine flame effects, more than 100 flame and ember color combinations, optional crackling sound, and control by the included remote or Wi-Fi app. Driftwood logs and clear crystals come in the box.

Installation Notes
Frame an opening 57 in. W x 24-1/4 in. H x 7-5/8 in. D, complete all wiring before finishing, and have a qualified electrician hard-wire it with NM-B cable. Use a 15 A, 120V circuit (20 A recommended) or a 20 A, 240V circuit for full heat. In a bathroom the circuit must be GFCI protected. Electric fireplaces need no gas line or venting, which makes them one of the simplest fireplace options for New York City apartments and co-ops, subject to building and board approval for the electrical work.
