The Superior VD1824NM is the Double-Flame vent-free gas log heater burner for natural gas with piezo ignition and manual high-low flame control. Per the Superior 126838-01 manual it is rated 19,000 to 36,000 Btu/h and takes the 18 or 24 in. Golden Oak, Crescent Hill and Crescent Hill HD log sets, sold separately.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

- Required: a Double-Flame log set (sold separately); a GA6080 damper clamp for vented use
Installation Notes
Superior allows this heater only in a solid-fuel masonry or UL127 factory-built fireplace, or a listed ventless firebox, and it draws combustion air from the room. Vent-free gas appliances cannot be installed in New York City under the NYC Fuel Gas Code. We sell this model for installations outside the five boroughs where local code allows it.
