The Viking 5 Series 13 in. built-in double side burner (VQGSB5131) adds two 15,000 BTU brass burners, 30,000 BTU in all, beside a Viking grill for sauces, sides and stockpots. Each burner runs from intense high heat down to a low simmer, and the sealed burners and basin wipe clean.
Hot surface ignition lights the burners reliably, the knobs glow with blue LEDs to match Viking 5 Series grills, and a removable stainless steel cover protects the top when it is not in use. Choose natural gas or propane above.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

- Optional: Viking LASK accessory switch kit when there is no Viking grill nearby, PRONGK1 or PROLPK1 gas conversion kits, and the VIJSB2 insulated jacket
Installation Notes
Install the side burner in a non-combustible enclosure with ventilation openings, using a 12-1/8 in. wide, 10-5/8 in. high and 24-1/2 in. deep cutout; it hangs from its countertop trim and needs no deck below. Keep 12 in. from the sides and back to combustibles below the counter and 18 in. above it, and do not install it under unprotected overhead combustibles. Power it from a 120V 15 A GFI outlet or from the Viking grill's transformer. In New York City, gas grills on terraces and rooftops are regulated by the FDNY and the Department of Buildings, gas piping must be run by a licensed master plumber, and propane cylinder use is heavily restricted, so we review the space before quoting. Book a design consultation to plan the island, gas line and layout.
