The Delta Heat 38-Inch 3-Burner Built-In Gas Grill with Color Control Panel is the 38-inch DHBQ38 head from the Twin Eagles team at Dometic, finished with a black or white powder-coated 304 stainless control panel instead of all-stainless. It is for the buyer who wants a welded, American-built grill that matches a modern outdoor palette. Every configuration includes the rear infrared rotisserie burner and rotisserie kit; step up to the RS for an infrared sear zone.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

Outdoor use only. Keep the grill at least 12 inches (18 recommended) from combustible construction on the sides and back, and never under an unprotected combustible roof or pergola. Combustible islands need the insulating jacket. The lights need a grounded 120V outlet, and the regulator converts between natural gas and propane but conversion should be done by a qualified gas technician. Natural gas must be connected by a licensed professional; in New York City that means a licensed master plumber under permit. Propane cylinders are restricted in many NYC buildings, so confirm what is allowed at your property before choosing propane. What is the difference between the R and RS models?

Both have three U-burners, a rear infrared rotisserie burner and the rotisserie kit. The DHBQ38RS also has an infrared sear zone for high direct heat.

Is the color panel covered by the warranty?

Yes. Delta Heat covers the color front panel for 5 years, alongside lifetime coverage on the main burners and housing.

What cutout does it need?

The grill head fits a 36-1/2 in wide, 19-3/4 in deep and 9-1/2 in high cutout. Combustible islands also need the Delta Heat insulating jacket.

Can it run on propane?

Yes. Choose natural gas or propane at checkout. Conversion between fuels should be done by a qualified gas technician.

Warranty

Per Delta Heat: lifetime on the stainless steel main burners and fabricated stainless housing (residential use); 15 years on the stainless steel grates; 5 years on the color front panel, briquette trays, gas valves, rotisserie burner and sear burner; 2 years on all other components; 1 year full parts and labor on the whole grill. Multi-user settings such as inns, clubs and multi-dwelling condos receive 90 days; commercial food service is excluded.
