The Contempo Long LP Select is the largest self-contained propane fire table in the American Fyre Designs Contempo line: 76 inches of low, modern GFRC with a 48-inch linear flame and a pull-out drawer that hides the propane tank. No gas line, no trenching and no visible cylinder, which makes it the right pick for a terrace, a rental or a patio where running natural gas is not practical. Order it in a solid GFRC finish or with a reclaimed wood finish top in French Barrel Oak or Silver Pine over a Black Lava base.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: fire table in your selected finish, 48" stainless linear burner and valve system, bag of lava granules for the required base layer
- Required: one horizontal 20 lb DOT propane cylinder or an 11 lb low profile steel DOT cylinder with OPD valve (fiberglass composite tanks are not permitted)
- Decorative media (recommended 40 lbs of glass or gems, or 25 lbs of lava): Fyre Glass, Reflective Fyre Glass, Fyre Gems or Diamond Nuggets
- Optional: tempered glass wind guard (8218-WG, large rectangle) and vinyl protective cover (8155A)
Installation Notes
Outdoor use only. Set the table on a hard, level surface, keep 3 ft of side clearance to any construction and 6 ft of clearance above the tabletop, and keep the drawer vent openings clear at all times. Because it runs on a portable cylinder there is no fixed gas piping, but propane cylinders are tightly restricted at NYC residential buildings under the NYC Fire Code, so check with your building and FDNY rules before ordering for a city address. At 430 lbs it ships LTL freight and needs at least two people to place. To compare this model with a natural gas table, request a consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size propane tank fits in the drawer?
A horizontal 20 lb DOT cylinder, or an 11 lb low profile steel DOT cylinder with an OPD valve. A standard upright grill tank will not fit, and fiberglass composite tanks are not allowed.
Can it be converted to natural gas?
No. LP Select models are built for propane only. If you have a gas line available, a natural gas model such as the Iron Saddle Long Rectangle (588) is the better fit.
How much media do I need?
American Fyre Designs recommends about 40 lbs of glass or gems over the included lava base, or 25 lbs of lava granules or coals.
Can I use it under a pergola or covered porch?
Only where the overhead construction is at least 6 ft above the tabletop and the sides stay 3 ft from any construction. Low pergolas and enclosed porches do not qualify.

Warranty
American Fyre Designs by R.H. Peterson Co. warrants the GFRC fire feature and burner for three years and all valves, electrical components, accessories and controls for one year (batteries, wind guards and screens excluded) from the date of purchase. Coverage is for the original purchaser with proof of purchase, excludes labor, and does not cover damage from burning wood or any fuel other than natural gas or propane, or damage or discoloration from use in high wind.
