The American Fyre Designs Legend LP Select is a 60-inch GFRC fire table with a board-formed look and a concealed compartment that houses a horizontal 20 lb propane cylinder, so no gas line and no visible tank are needed. A flush GFRC burner cover turns it into a full tabletop when the fire is off. It suits a terrace or patio without natural gas service.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included: Legend LP Select fire table with burner and valve system, a base bag of lava granules and the flush GFRC burner cover
  • Required: a horizontal 20 lb propane cylinder with overfill prevention device (not included); do not use fiberglass composite tanks
  • Recommended media: about 15 lb of glass or gems, or 10 lb of lava: Fyre Glass, Fyre Gems or Diamond Nuggets
  • Optional: tempered glass wind guard (8213-WG per current listing) and vinyl protective cover

Installation Notes

Outdoor use only. Keep 3 ft of clearance from the unit edge to any construction and never install under overhead construction less than 6 ft above the top. The cylinder compartment must stay ventilated and drained as the manual specifies, and the cylinder must be secured and kept away from heat above 125 F. Does it need a gas line?

No. It is propane only and runs from a 20 lb cylinder housed inside the base.

What tank fits?

A horizontal 20 lb DOT Type LP cylinder. The manual also allows an 11 lb low profile steel cylinder. Fiberglass composite tanks must not be used.

How much heat does it make?

The manual lists 65,000 BTU for the Legend LP Select.

Can I use it as a table?

Yes. The flush GFRC burner cover sits over the burner when the fire is off.

Warranty

American Fyre Designs by R.H. Peterson Co. warrants the GFRC fire feature and burner for three years and valves, electrical components, accessories and controls for one year (batteries, wind guards and screens excluded). Coverage is for the original purchaser with proof of purchase, and does not cover damage from burning wood or any fuel other than natural gas or propane, or damage or discoloration from high wind.
